Rippey will be hosting the 44th Annual BRR( Bike Ride to Rippey) on Saturday, February 6.  The ride will be much different this year because of the Coronavirus pandemic. The City Council has issued a proclamation that all buildings will be closed to the public.
The Friends of Rippey will be hosting the Thirsty Pig  as last year. Except, this year will only be selling cans of beer to meet the necessary Covid-19 restrictions. 
In addition, the Rippey United Methodist Church will be offering a sack lunch on the church driveway. The lunch will include a ham and cheese sandwich, condiments, chips, cookies and a bottle of water.  
The Rippey Lions Club will be providing a sack lunch also with a roast beef sandwich, chips, dessert and beverage. They will be set up on the south side of the Community/Library Building on Main St. 
The Friends of Rippey will have a photography cut out exhibit available for riders.
Portable toilets have been ordered and will be available for riders and visitors. Social distancing and masks are encouraged  when in congested areas.
