Good Morning all,
Received good news yesterday from the Greene County Community Foundation regarding grant requests.
Two requests were submitted by the Friends of Rippey.
One for painting of the mural,and refurbishing of baseball dugouts, and one for the creation and printing of a booklet of I REMEMBER RIPPEY.
$6,759 was awarded to the Friends of Rippey. This does mean that 25 percent was identified as a match, or $1,689.00, but Rolling Hills Bank has donated $750 for the mural on their bank building, so $949.00 will be invested by the Friends of Rippey.

The awards ceremony is planned for April 6.
We will begin working on the projects as soon as the funds are received.
