Muir Family Reunion Celebrate July 4th, 2016

Family and friends gathered at the rural Washington Township home of Eugene and Iva Jo Muir on Monday, July 4, 2016.  The highlight of the morning was enjoying the ceremony conducted by four staff members of Hospice of Central Iowa Care Services of Hospice of Central Iowa, as well as Veteran Partner, Wes and his wife, Marilyn Bode.  After the Pledge of Allegiance, a prayer of thanks was given and several patriotic readings.  Eugene was given a Veteran Service Flag pin by Veteran Partner, Wes Bode and the group sang God Bless America. Concluding the program, Wes presented Eugene with a certificate of recognition and thanked him for his service.
