This month is going fast! Can’t believe it will be Thanksgiving next week. I’m trying each day to find something to be thankful for. It has been a crazy year and I am ready to try 2021!
New books arrived this week. I’m trying to keep up to date on new best sellers and also ones that patrons would like. I have “Daylight” the new David Baldacci book, Michael Connelly’s book “The Law of Innocence”, John Grisham’s book, “A Time for Mercy”, and Heather Gudenkauf’s “This is How I Lied”. She is an Iowa author so am hoping our patrons will want to read it.
Some Greene County Libraries are closed to foot traffic now. We don’t have a lot of patrons coming in at one time and our patrons space out in a safe manner so none are inconvenienced. I take some books out to the curb for people who do not feel comfortable coming in the library right now. I hope we can get this stopped soon.
These past months I have been reading Sue Grafton’s books. I really like them and I’m sorry she died before she got the last alphabet book done! As I said one other time, I’m trying to venture out to other books, but mysteries are still my favorite. It is just hard to find the time to do it.
I hope everyone has a good, safe Thanksgiving! Read a book!
