Jean’s Jottings

I took advantage of the deep freezes the last couple weeks and started cleaning and sorting a room upstairs.  Since I don’t have a basement, the two rooms and hallway have been used as storage.  I actually gave the room a fresh coat of paint and am being very selective about what will be in that room.

I had to chuckle when I discovered some material, already sorted, some cut in squares, and ready for what looks like a child’s quilt.  A memory of being with Velda DeMoss in a fabric shop many decades ago flashed through my mind.  She said I could make a baby quilt and even helped with the selection and cutting.  I’m pretty sure that’s not going to happen and I will find a good home for these items!
