As Rippey begins to plan for the celebration of the 150th birthday that was postponed last summer due to Covid, a marketing idea that is now fruition came to be. The magnet that is pictured above is available from Rippey businesses and institutions or committee members. It is to be placed on your refrigerator or other metal as a reminder for the July 31st event.
The day of the celebration, the magnet may be returned and exchanged for a free raffle ticket to be placed in a drawing for a $300 mixed meat package from Fareway grocery store. The entire meat package may be available for the winner over a 12 month time period. The winner does not have to be present at the drawing which will be held during the 7th inning stretch of the baseball game.
Time to obtain a magnet and come to Rippey July 31st!
