The last time RAGBRAI came through Rippey was in 1980! Forty three years later, Rippey will be the MEETING town on July 25th. It will be the third day of the ride with the longest stretch from Carroll to Ames of 100 miles on the Century Loop or the regular route of 83 miles.

This will be RAGBRAI riders first glimpse of Rippey when riding in from the west on E57 July 25.
WELCOME RIDERS.
This is Rippey’s Main Street. It will be filled on both sides by 28 vendors serving you a variety of nourishing foods, liquid hydration of all kinds, and two bands for entertainment.
Welcome to Rippey.
The Signature Rock for RAGBRAI riders, the Iowa Beer Bus pouring 26 brews, and live music from Luke Farland and Jordan Beem will be covering this lot July 25th.
Clark Fessler, formerly of Rippey, Executive Officer of TCB Corporate Wearables is pictured with Friends of Rippey leader, Mary Weaver.
Clark’s company designed a logo for Rippey Meeting Place RAGBRAI L volunteers and has now donated 100 shirts to the Friends of Rippey.
Thank you, Clark and TCB.
Rippey has two banks and an ATM.
The ATM is located at Sparky’s convenience store.
Stop in and get some cash to spend with the food vendors.
