On Saturday, July 21, Phyllis Bardole and Jean Borgeson travelled to Carroll where they were able to have and “in person” visit with Phyllis’ sister, Valerie Ogren. We had our temperature checked and filled out a health check list. We were allowed a half hour sitting outside on the patio. It’s amazing how much that few minutes of personal face to face conversation can mean to people who have been so isolated from each other. Valerie is recovering from knee surgery and after several months of therapy is pain free and able to walk with her walker again. To see her walk outside was a “feel good” moment, indeed!
