Thanks to Jean Boregeson for her contribution to a school project in Superior Wisconsin. Elizabeth Pearson, granddaughter of Nancy and Dale Hanaman, sent a message to her grandmother and wanted a picture of the old Rippey Jail. Dale and Nancy had visited Jerry Kennedy’s museum with Elizabeth and viewed the jail, a wagon of Laurence Huber’s and many other items. Since Jean knows the characters and stories of Rippey history and has pictures to match a request was dispatched. She had a picture from the 1970 Rippey Centennial with Franklin Johnson standing in front of the jail, thus the Rippey Jail is now part of Elizabeth’s project thanks to Jean.
