Lee Owen Vohs, son of Gary Lee Vohs and Kimberly Kay Swaink, was born October 09, 1984 and passed away on September 2, 2017 in Council Bluffs, Iowa at the young age of 32. Lee lived most of his life in the Silver City, Iowa community where he was a member of the Silver City Baptist Church and the Silver City Library. He attended AWANA in Glenwood, Iowa.

Lee attended school in Treynor, Iowa where he enjoyed Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and played soccer. Lee’s other interests were fishing, swimming, rollerblading, reading and going karaoking with Grandpa Bob and Uncle Scott.

Lee obtained his G.E.D.in 2006 and a beginning welder certification in 2013. His most recent job was working on the assembly line at Kawasaki Motors in Maryville, Missouri.

Lee was preceded in death by his Great Grandparents Owen and Alice Lape; Grandparents Bob and Glenda Swaink; Grandpa Andy Vohs; Grandpa Ron Rejda; Grandpa Tony Adair; Great-Grandma Laura Adair; his uncles: Rollie Lisle; Albert Lape; Gary Swaink; Irvin Swaink, and Scott Swaink.; and cousins Ron Ward and Travis Tysor.

Those left with treasured memories are his Mom, Kimberly Adair and Step-Dad, Rex Adair; and his Dad Gary. He leaves a host of siblings and other dear relatives who will mourn his loss: Amber Adair; Gary Vohs Jr.; Crystal Vohs; Cory Vohs; Shelby Vohs; Nicole Vohs; Davia Vohs; and Angelina Vohs; Grandmothers: Cindy Vohs Erickson; Marilyn Rejda; and Verla Adair; Great Aunts and Uncles: Linda Lisle; Ethel Ward and George Cook; Kate and LeRoy Swaink; Sharon and Charlie Hendericksen; Virma and Lonnie Ward; Kathy Swaink; Carolyn and Dee Lee; and Roberta Lape; Aunts and Uncles: Michel and Tom Emig; Dawn and Tim Bohrer; Tammy and John Baer; Stephanie and Larry Vohs; Sid Vohs; Wayne Vohs; Joyce and Fred Yost; Mike and Trisha Swaink; Rick Swaink; Cheryl and Dennis Penry; Lou and Kenny Squier; and Karen and Terry Adair; nieces, nephews, numerous cousins; other relatives, many friends and co-workers. Following his service Lee will be cremated and will be buried in the Rippey, Iowa Cemetery on September 23, 2017, with his Lape and Swaink loved ones.
