Our library is open and it is getting warmer! It’s nice to not having to wear a winter coat, this week. I have been getting new books in almost every week. We ordered some new chairs. Four are put together, but the other set came without any screws! They are metric, so it’s a little hard to find the right ones. I will have two big boxes for my two great-grandsons!
I’ve done some weeding of books. I still have to take those boxes to New Hope if they want them. I was going to weed the paperback books, but some were well known authors. I decided to just place them in a different place.
Our patrons continue to come in whether it is cold or not. Hopefully some others will brave the weather when it gets warmer. We are going to be getting a program that lets you get e-books from home with your library card. There will be DVD’s and thousands of other things you can get. You will need a library card number and you may have to come in and get a new number. I will keep you posted. More information will be given when I know.
I hope you are all enjoying the sun and warmer weather. I think we need a little rain to take out the frost. Farm girl talk! Always thinking about when we can get in the field. I am looking forward to “scratching” around in the dirt. I don’t have a garden anymore, but I’m trying to get plants that come up every year! It’s too hard to get down close to the ground!
