We tried twice to drive north to find snow over the weekend. No luck on Saturday, but another road trip on Sunday, a park in Flagstaff still had enough left to experience the snow that was left. It wasn’t the fluffy, soft kind, but the kids got to play enough to get cold, wet and have hot chocolate. They enjoyed this new experience. To this grandma, it seemed a long way to find snow, but the drive through the mountains was beautiful. They will have to be content with the pictures of home and the memories their parents and grandma share about snowstorms!
