The Rippey Lions held regular meeting opening with a potluck meal. Dick Bardole was the coordinator. Guests at this meeting were Bobbi and Neal Dollinger. Business included receiving a thank you from the Iowa Leader Dog program and discussion of a possible joint 75th celebration for the Rippey Public Library and the Rippey Lions Club both beginning service to the community in 1944. Rick Fazel shared songs from a list of favorites. The next meeting is Oct. 17 with a served meal and Roger Aegeter, Jefferson, sharing from his recent trip to China.
