Fishing Was Great!

Midge Vannatta and her three children, Pat McPherson, Doug Grow and Jeff Grow, went to Myrtle Lake, MN fishing last week at the family cottage. The weather was really warm, staying between 75-80 degrees and the fishing was great!
On Tuesday, Jason Grow, Midge’s grandson, came and spent from Tuesday to Saturday with the group. Everyone caught their limit on Northern Pike and Jeff caught a very large Walleye! Several crappies were also caught.
Pat was in charge of the meals and they had fish four times and fish tacos were enjoyed. While not fishing, games were played and they took time to celebrate Midge’s sister-in-law, Ellen Bryan’s birthday, who resides at nearby Pinewood, MN.
On the way home on Saturday, they enjoyed a Chinese dinner at Bemidji, MN. Midge was home in time to play for church, which the choir was grateful!!
