I am Phyllis Bardole the new Librarian for Rippey. I live on a farm west of Rippey with my husband Roy. We farm with two of our sons Peter and Timothy and a grandson Schyler. I started at the Library October 1st.
I was welcomed with an Open House on October 10, 2018. There was a good turnout of around 50 adults, youth, and children attending during the afternoon. I want to thank the board members, Dale Hanaman, Brenda Roberts, Nancy Burrow, Connie Neese and Jean Borgeson, as well as long time library supporter, Maralynn Rinker, for providing this opportunity for the community to gather in my honor. I hope you will come in so I can meet you. Our hours during October are 2-5 Monday through Friday.
The Rippey Library Halloween costume party will be Wednesday, October 31st at 4:00 p. m.. Come for the fun! There will be food, drink and goodies. Rippey Mayor, Dan Brubaker proclaimed Trick or Treat night to follow the party at 5:00. Hope to see you then.
