The “Lots of Socks Drive and More” drive started on October 24 and continues through November 14. Donations of new items are needed for children preschool through middle school: socks for preschool-middle school, underwear for preschool and elementary school. All donations will be distributed through New Opportunities Family Development Center in Jefferson. The drive is coordinated by the Greene County Retired Citizens Volunteer Program.
November 6 is All Saints Day, a day to remember those who have passed away in the last year. A special ceremony will be held during worship.
