I received an unexpected phone call from a family friend and classmate of my sister and brother, on Saturday, inviting me to lunch with her and another classmate to eat lunch with them in Jamaica. Those “girls” were back for their 60th Woodward class reunion. Barb (Rhoads) McWhorter, visiting from PA, wanted a tenderloin. Of course Jane (Peoples) knew where to go. After all, her mother, Maxine (Simmer) Peoples was raised in Jamaica. What a fun couple hours I had with Jane and Barb reminiscing about our parents and growing up together, those many decades ago. Robert Borgeson joined us and was a good sport to take our picture! I’m sure he enjoyed the rest of Barb’s tenderloin!
