On Saturday evening, I enjoyed the performance of “Around the World in 80 days” at the Perry Performing Arts Center. Presented by the Perry High School and Drama Department, The Adventures of Phileas Fogg was fast-paced and well done by everyone involved. The twenty different scenes were changed quickly, making the production run smoothly. Seth Borgeson was cast as a judge, a train and a ship engineer. Several of the cast members had to use different accents depending on the country they were in at the time. These young people are gearing up for auditions in December for the Spring Musical. I joined Michael and Jill Borgeson for this special evening out.
