Jean’s Jottings

I attended the production of “Puffs” presented by the Perry High School Drama Department, with Michael and Jill on Saturday, November 9.

I have never read the Harry Potter books, but it was a fast paced production (with no intermission ) and I soon realized it was a story told from the point of view of the “Puffs,” who attended Wizard School for seven years with Harry. The play focuses on the students known as the “Puffs,” who were often deemed as misfits and were picked on. Yet, as they matured, their true strength and courage shine through, proving that true friendships come in all shapes and sizes. Grandson Seth played “Cedrick,” the Puff’s leader. It was an enjoyable evening.

On Wednesday, November 13, I was able to attend the induction ceremony of the Perry High School Honor Society with Michael and Jill. Seth was one of the junior class inductees.  His other grandparents, Chuck and Sharon Patton were also in attendance. It was a very nice ceremony for the young people.
