Sign-up for the Rippey Public Library Summer Reading program “Read, Renew, Repeat” has officially begun! We are doing bingo cards, get your bingo cards at the library or on our website. A bingo gets you a small prize and an entry to win a grand prize! All ages are welcome to participate!
Our first event will be on June 11th at 6pm, a painting class for adults with Susie Cunningham. Sign up is required by June 7th so materials may be purchased. Please contact the Rippey Public Library for more information and to sign-up.
The next big event will be the Summer Reading Kick-off Outdoor Movie: “The Bee Movie” at 9pm on June 15th. Bring the whole family out for some outdoor fun and popcorn!
THANK YOU FOR REMEMBERING THE RIPPEY LIBRARY
The Rippey Public Library was given a couple of memorials and would like to thank Paula Rychnovsky, family, and friends for their memorial in honor of Lyle Rychnovsky who passed away last September. Lyle was a library board member and very active at the library. We have honored him with two new library rocking chairs, a goose out in front of the library, and goose and duck books because of the pets he had. We greatly miss all the help he gave around the library and thank you again for your support of ongoing efforts at the Rippey Public Library.
The Rippey Public Library would also like to thank those who gave memorials in honor of Nancy Burrow, Doris Tipton, and Jan Friess, three amazing ladies who loved the Rippey Public Library and will be missed. We have purchased new books with these memorials.
We would also like to thank people who have donated to the Rippey Public Library recently including, the Grand Junction Women’s Club who gave us some money for snacks for the summer reading program and the Rippey Lion’s Club who gave us money for new materials. The snacks have been purchased and will be used throughout June and July and come see some new Large Print books obtained from the Rippey Lions Club donation.
