The Rippey Lions Club met for their regular meeting on May 2 beginning with a potluck meal. Following the business meeting, Judy Murphy and Shelby Cooklin from the Greene County Public Health Department presented the program with information about some of the resources available. From the Loan Closet local residents can borrow wheelchairs to use in their home. The Lifeline programs provides assistance if a person falls. “Brain Fitness” classes are offered with the next one starting in June. They stressed the importance of being up to date with immunizations for all ages, especially for people over 65.
