Rippey Lions Club met for their first fall meeting on September 6, 2018 with a delicious potluck and meat grilled by Mark Devilbiss. Guests were Pastor Cat Stokes and Margaret Den Beste. President Paul Burrow led the meeting. The members began making plans for a pancake breakfast in November.
Dale Hanaman presented a program about Rippey Historical History and stumped the group with some of the questions, including when the land was purchased for the current Rippey Baseball Park. Local history came alive to the group.
The next meeting will be on September 20, with the meal served by the women of the church and Nancy Burrow is in charge of the program. Submitted by Nancy Hanaman
