Santa Claus came to Rippey via the fire truck, driven by fire Chief Brad Rowe. The truck rolled right up to the community room where a pancake breakfast was prepared by Mayor Dan and Friends of Rippey helpers. Pancakes, sausage, fruit, and beverages were served.
A free will donation generated another $500 towards the fireworks display to be held during Rippey Daze.
Children and adults sat with Santa as he listened to their wishes.
